March turned out to be a busy month for us. I'm not going to lie, I was feeling quite defeated at the start of the month after we didn't get approved for a house I really wanted, and as much as I tried to remind myself it wasn't meant to be, I couldn't quite believe it. So I took a break from looking for houses and after a week or so more rentals were listed and on a last minute decision I viewed a town house that we got approved for the very next day! So our luck made a major turn around and after a few stressful weeks we are finally unpacked in our new place! Let the re-nesting begin!

See You Next Year February!
This month we spent a lot of our free days together driving back and forth from Newcastle looking at potential new rentals. We didn't have much luck though.
I shared some things that make me happy,
and some dresses that I need.
I visited my friend for a city date
and Luke & I made one of my favourite Sunday pizzas yet.
This month we spent a lot of time focusing on looking for a new place to live. Luke & I have made the decision that we're going to be moving back to Newcastle as soon as we can find somewhere to live. We made this decision a couple of months ago and now the time has come to start organising this big change & we've been driving back and forth to house viewings whenever we possibly can. Moving is the worst, I cannot wait to be all settled and unpacked already. Aside from house hunting, we've been keeping a low profile this month, which hasn't been hard with the wet weather we've been having here. The colder season is definitely going to be a challenge with Romy, she really likes being out and about so I don't know how she'll take her first winter. But I most certainly am looking forward to bringing my cardigans back out again. See you later February!

Monthly Wrap Up
This month I started some new features this month pizza sunday, my happy list & 52 portraits of Romy
I also started sharing little everyday moments
I did an interview with Therese Kerr
I made my favourite sweet treat
I shared some of my favourite Australian blogs
And drank cocktails!
January was a pretty cruisy month for us. We went on picnics, spent time with my extended family, stayed up late watching the tennis, made lots of cocktails, fell in love with Ron Swanson, went for evening walks, started our days earlier & themed our dinner nights. One of my resolutions was to use my spare time more wisely, and while I still do waste time during Romy's naps I feel like I've been using my evenings more wisely and things around the house are more organised. I planned and scheduled a lot of my blog posts this month which freed up a lot of time on Luke's days off so we could spend more quality time together, and we used Luke's days off more wisely. I don't usually enjoy January as much as the rest of the year, but I definitely enjoyed this January with my little family!
