A Monday Picnic

Today Luke & I went on a little picnic. It was such a lovely, sunny day here on the Coast for a change. Not like the horrible, wet & moody weather lately. We slept in a little later than we would have liked to, quickly did a clean up and some washing, and packed a picnic. Luke made delicious salad rolls with spinach, sun dried tomato, swiss cheese, leek, mushroom & south west sauce, and a cinnamon & honey granola. We also packed some nuts and poppers and went on our way.

    I miss picnics!
    I even thrited a picnic basket to FORCE me to go on picnics, however, weather on my side of he world isn't picnic friendly right now, but you look like you had a great time!

    So jealous :)

    Oh I love having little picnics! I've not had one in ages, but it's definitely something to put on my 'to do' list this spring/summer. It looks so laid back and fun. xo

    Oh, picnics are so much fun! I can't believe you got sunshine enough to have one in January! It's sunny here in California, but sweaters and coats would still be needed!

    Ah! I would give just about anything to go on a picnic right now! Unfortunately in Idaho it's just a wee bit too cold. Parkas and gloves and hats wouldn't even begin to cover the necessities ;) Looks like a lovely day!
